Severity is left in for backwards compatibility, but it has been disabled by default (and IMHO could be removed in a future version). Severity used to be the only way to distinguish bugs from enhancements, but with the introduction of the "Type" field this isn't necessary, so there's little distinction between "priority" and "severity". This has already been discussed at great length in the past, so there are no plans to re-enable severity by default. However you are free to re-enable it on your projects, or add custom fields to reflect your development processes. To avoid further confusion I think it would be good if the severity field was disabled on the Edgewall site. -- Matthew Good <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> _______________________________________________ Trac mailing list [email protected] http://lists.edgewall.com/mailman/listinfo/trac
