The changeset that causes an internal server error the web client without 
giving any response is not huge. However you make me thing that the changeset 
view also displays the diffs -> maybe the diffs are huge ? Can we disable the 
display of the diff section ?

Which release of Trac are you using?

Very large changeset may take a (very) long time to render, and may
even exhaust the physical resources on your server. Does this error
occur on such large changesets or randomly, whatever the changeset
size?

The upcoming release (0.10) comes with a new feature to limit the
maximum size of a changeset view, see
http://trac.edgewall.org/wiki/TracIniMacro#changeset-section
