Right, not on the Nuvi. However, if Adrian was using a terminal program instead, he might hear them coming back from a digi as a "digi echo". I take it that the problem he as originally looking into was whether or not he was sending ACKs. I've seen evidence of messages he has sent, but his T2 / Nuvi have apparently never been active any time I was going to try sending a message to him.
