Hello, I am using a Kenwood T-71A radio with the OT2m data tracker and Nuvi 350, and just trying to get everything to talk to each other. I think I have the right cabling, but would like someone to verify.
Just use two cables. One for the Radio to TNC; and one for the GPS to TNC. Am not seeing the data tracker power on though, and thinking I need to supply power to it with a third cable (no power cable with the TNC from factory?). Plus I think I need a serial cable to use with my laptop to talk to the TNC for initial setup into Garmin Fleet Management Information (FMI?)Mode. Is that true? Thanks for any help with this newbee.
