Thanks for the reply Randy!!  Will be getting a splitter, and null modem cable, 
and serial to USB adapter.  Just need to make sure I do not need anything else. 
  Maybe get a power cable to cigerette light if Argent data carries those for 
the OT2m TNC, for power or experimenting.
