The Tracker 2 series uses Garmin's Fleet Management Interface (FMI) as described at
http://www8.garmin.com/solutions/commercial/mrmsolutions.jsp The issue is with the FMI implementation within most of their devices EXCEPT the Nuvi 350. The 350 replaces updated waypoints and the other devices clone the waypoints. I may be off-base on this, but that's my understanding of the situation. The same "feature" may also apply to the NMEA waypoint implementation, but I'm pretty sure the Tracker2 uses FMI and not NMEA.
