The pinout for the connector on the T2-301 is shown at...

I believe that the cable you have is...

The pin-out for port A is the same as a standard serial cable... pins 5,
2 and 3. The black male DE-9 should be able to connect directly to a
serial port on the PC, or to your USB to serial adapter. The yellow one
goes to the DE-9. However, I don't have that cable. If the black
connector is a male, you will have to make up an adapter, or get the Y
cable from Argent Data.

However, I don't have that cable either! I made up my own, but I'll
likely get a few of the above cables on my next order. A "gender
changer" should also do the job. Bottom line... you need to get the
"port A" serial port connected to your PC.

When it is connected, download and run otwincfg.exe. You can configure
it with that program. You can also use a terminal program, but it's a
bit easier first time around using the configuration program.

You could connect a GPS to it and use it as a tracker.

You could set AMODE KISS and connect it to a computer and run something
like UI-View. www.ui-view.org
