Oh, and as for being more forgiving, since it ought to have plenty of excess horsepower (I'm working with an 80 MIPS Coldfire v2) I'd like to have it run through two or three different filters (or possibly entirely different demodulators) in parallel to squeeze a little more out of the received audio.
