I too was wondering about performance in real weather. Up here in the
Great White North, we can get a little bit of hoar frost, and also
radial ice build up at tower sites.

I could probably run one here at the house with little trouble, the
weather here in town is pretty mild compared to some of the repeater
sites.

It will probably perform as well as the other consumer grade WX
stations out there. Scott have you looked at the ultrasonic wind speed
and direction detection equipment? If you could do that at a
reasonable price point, it would eliminate the moving parts that can
fail.
