The wind and rain sensors are designed for home weather stations, and they're certainly not as durable as professional grade devices. They're also a small fraction of the price of those devices. Of course, there's always the possibility of using different sensors with the same controller. I had a phone conversation along those lines the other day with a certain incumbent weather equipment manufacturer. Apparently the WS1 is starting to attract some attention. Scott
