Thanks Brian: Yes..that section of I10 is pretty barren! Once per month we go from Detroit to Bradenton and back...leave here Thursday evening..back here on Monday evening. We'll be interested to see how it works out. Also plan on using an imbedded map from aprs.fi during our summer tour which will range from NH down the East coast to Atlanta West and North from Minneapolist down thru Kansas, OK, and TX and pretty much alot in between. Approx 15,000 miles from Late June to Mid August.

System is OT2/Nuvi 350 and a Kenwood TM-241A feeding a homebrew 5/8 wave for now...might change antennas but this one has worked well when vehicle grounding was less than adequate--like a bike. Our vehicle for the summer has a fibreglass body.
