Hi Nic,

Judging by what I see on the product page [http://tinyurl.com/28hkxun]:

=========
1 Port B in
---
2 Port A out [data from the T2-301]
- connect the Pin 2 (Data receive) on your PC serial connector
---
3 +5V out
---
4 GND
- connect this to your power ground connection (battery negative)
---
5 Power in (9-15V)
- connect this to your positive power connection
---
6 IRQ/Counter in
---
7 1-wire bus
---
8 Port A in [data to the T2-301]
- connect the to Pin 3 (data Transmit) on your PC serial connector
---
9 Port B out
---
These connections should get you able to configure.
=========

The PC serial connection in your case is a USB to RS232 convertor. For all
intents and purposes, think of it as a RS232 port.

Best regards,
Fred

Hi all,
I recently purchased a T2-301 and it arrived this week. I made a cable that
supplies DC to the device negative on pin 4 and positive on pin 5 and
connects pin 4 to my USB to serial converter pin 5, pin 2 to my USB to
serial converter pin 3 and pin 8 to my USB to serial converter pin 2. Is
this correct?
I have loaded OTWINCFG onto my laptop and when I run it doesn't progress
past the connect to tracker screen. It doesn't matter if I check the Disable
Turbo box or not.
Can anybody on the list suggest what I might be doing wrong?
