Yes, it is. I've been pondering how to wire my T2-301, so thanks for 
the drawings. They confirmed some things that I have done and/or considered.

So, PORT A and PORT B on the T2-301 are interchangeable to the point 
that either port could be the GPS port and either port could be the PC port?

If you use the configuration software, you need to use PORTA for it. At
least that is my understanding. That is why I personally keep PortA for the
PC connection when needed. I do use a terminal program to make changes must
of the time.
 
The GPS can be connected to either port. My GPS is wired for a regular PC
connection of pins 2 and 3 for data. I can connect it directly to a COM port
if necessary. I have an adapter for connecting it the pins 7 and 8 on the
OT2. Scott's two serial cable does what I basically did.
