O.K. The OS system installes a basic set of fonts that all programs can use. Anytime you install more editing or graphic software more fonts are installed to enhance the choices of fonts already installed. Nearly all fonts are installed in the C:\WINDOWS\FONTS directory.
If you are using a Lynix based system, I defer to someone else as to the location. However, the installation of additional fonts follows the same procedure as in Windows. When a PDF file is created it will make the PDF based on what is viewed from the source software. What font is causing the error?
