A couple of weeks ago on my way home my tracker stopped working for no apparent
reason. Trying to troubleshoot I hooked up gps nuvi 350 to computer updated
maps and software with a cable plugged into the side port. Then I hooked up the
alinco with t135 to computer made some changes to t2 and checked, all seems ok.
When I reinstalled it nothing worked I am starting to suspect the cable that
goes between the radio and the gps. This is a special cable Garmin part number
010-10813-00. Mini-B USB ordered from Scott. I don't know how to check it but I
seem to remember reading somewhere it is field programmable. Further note I
have used my back up GPS handheld Garmin 76 csx hooked to the alinco radio and
it works fine both position reporting and showing other stations on screen. Any
suggestions ?
