The 10813 cable you have is a USB-to-RS232 converter cable and I do not have a 
trouble shooting suggestion for it other than try another one. The cable that 
is field programmable is the GTRANS cable used primarily, but not solely, 
between the Kenwood D710/D700 and a Nuvi 350.
