I actually love the idea of ditz -- I've played around with ticgit [2]  
which uses a very similar concept -- but it doesn't work well for  
people who are users but not developers. With ticgit at least, people  
cloning and forking the repos would get the tickets too, and could  
issue pull requests to update tickets. I think quite a few people  
submitting tickets fall into that category, so I don't want to lose  
them.

Lighthouse *does* now have free accounts for OSS projects, and I set  
one up to test if anyone wants to take a look around[3]. I vaguely  
remember some mention of GitHub getting a simple ticketing system, but  
perhaps with Lighthouse opening up to OSS, they won't go down that road.

Anyway, I'll look at Redmine and Retrospectiva and see what would be  
best. It needs to integrate well with git/github of course, and since  
we've already got a wiki and a way of browsing the source and  
changesets, it doesn't need to be very complex. At first glance,  
Redmine looks brilliant, but is much more than we need.
