Edifecs Inc.'s Spec Builder product was recommended to me for this purpose.
I don't know that it will solve your problem, but it might be worth a look
to you.

A little clarification seems to be in order.  I have the IG documents.  I 
was hoping that somewhere there was a database compatible file, ie 
excel spreadsheet, csv file, database, etc.  That contained a listing 
that I could import and use without retyping the lists myself.
