Subject: RE: Taxonomy Codes

By any chance does anyone know why the Taxonomy Codes are not listed in
the
back of the 270/271 and 278 guides in the External Code Sources section?
Also, does anyone know the code source number for the Taxonomy Codes?

Thanks,
Dana

Yes, the Taxonomy Codes have been adopted (they are listed as an
external
code
source in the PRV segments where appropriate). Go to Washington
Publishing
-
HIPAA - Code Lists - Taxonomy to look at them. I think I heard that
they
are
now displayed in frames so your browser has to able to support frames.
