The postal service has a subscription plan that supplies you with a current list of zip codes each month. It is a long list and not well suited to data entry lookup. I have used it to lookup zip codes for a particular state and any previously used zip code, but a full lookup of all codes would take several minutes, even on a fast data entry system.
