Scott, You did not directly mention it, but I assume you are testing a transaction against the Addenda implementation guides, based on the message below.
Look in Page 9 of the 837P Addenda guide, there are three DTP segments that have been deleted. One of them is the Referral Date. So, using the Addenda version of the transactions you cannot send the Referral date in position 135 of loop 2300. Having said that, let me warn you that the Addenda version of the HIPAA transactions is still subject to change and will not be stable until after the X12 meeting in Miami. The version that the Claredi system uses is the May 2000 version of the Addenda. As soon as the final Addenda version is ready we will update the system with it.
