Hi,

While I'm almost totally devoted to work on 1.1.0, I'm wondering about
best policy to properly `backport' changes to HEAD.

Unfortunately, having a such huge changelog, stabilizing 1.1.0 isn't a
trivial task, so changeset will not be trivial. And I don't like to let
the HEAD go it's own way and backport a single huge patch.

Just for the record, I think we're at very least a couple of alphas
before firtst beta, and that's a quite optimistic viewpoint.

I'm tempted to provide a backport just after next alpha and resync a bit
the branches, but I'm still open to any suggestion.
I'll at very least resync the trees when the first 1.1.0 beta goes out.

Bests,
