As the wiki maintainer, I agree 100%. But somebody needs to be
willing to take responsiblity for beginning to populate the
new wiki.

I can create a new wiki similar to the existing one, with the
addition of an upload feature (with individual passwords, so
that if someone goes bonkers they can be locked out without
affecting anyone else).

Or someone else could take over, and perhaps set up a mediawiki
based wiki, which requires more maintenance.

I apologize for not fixing the wiki properly after the recent
server upgrade, but I'm afraid my time is not my own right now,
with the usual business of life, plus a dying family member.
