Installed Handbrake... Only see container type MKV, no MP4. Looking at
documentation right now, but have any thoughts?

You could try Handbrake I use it now instead of DVD:rip

I am not sure if I am posting to the correct location.

I just recently started using dvd::rip for extracting compressed videos from
my DVD's.  I am running under Kbuntu 14.04 LTS, dvd::rip 0.98.11.

Attached is the dependencies check.

I've transcoded several videos into and AVI container and the transcoder is
working great for AVI.

But when I tried to transcode into an MPEG container, the following error
occured:

Command exits with failure code:
Command: execflow -n 19 mplex -f 5 -r 2793 -V -o
/home/.../dvdrip/DVD_rip_movie/avi/003/DVD_rip_movie-003-%d.mpg
/home/.../dvdrip/DVD_rip_movie/avi/003/DVD_rip_movie-003.m2v
/home/.../dvdrip/DVD_rip_movie/avi/003/DVD_rip_movie-003.mpa  && echo
EXECFLOW_OK

Output:    INFO: [mplex] mplex version 2.1.0 (2.2.7 $Date: 2012/11/17 01:55:16
$)
**ERROR: [mplex] Unable to open file
/home/.../dvdrip/DVD_rip_movie/avi/003/DVD_rip_movie-003.m2v for reading.

Wed Apr 15 16:40:25 2015 Job 'Transcode - title #3' cancelled
Wed Apr 15 16:40:26 2015 Job 'Multiplex MPEG - title #3' finished

The error is correct, because the only file that is located in the listed
directory is DVD_rip_movie-003, with no extension. There is no .mpg, .m2v, or
.mpa files in that directory (or any other directory).

My questions are:

1. Is this an issue with transcode, or dvd::rip? I went to the dvd::rip site,
and it pointed here for issues that occurred during transcode.

2. Has anyone seen this issue before?

3. Are dvd::rip and transcode projects still active?

If the image attachment for dependencies check from dvd::rip does not make it
through the e-mail system, let me know and I can resend as text.

Thanks.
