Hi list

As I announced with the release of Pootle 0.10, there might be some new
strings for translation in the 0.10 release series. Since big work is
currently planned for the development branch of Pootle, we might even
end up making some not-so-minor update releases from the 0.10 branch.

The new file contains only 7 new messages - mostly for password
confirmation as contributed by Charl recently. This has been a requested
feature for some time.

I have not yet updated the code on pootle.wordforge.org to the newest
code, so unfortunately the new messages can't yet be tested in context.
I hope to update it in the next few days. There are several small CSS
updates pending that should mostly affect Asian scripts. (An issue was
reported with unnecessarily big font sizes in some pages.) Thanks for
all the feedback in the last few weeks. Please continue to update the
page with your requests for customised display settings at
http://translate.sourceforge.net/wiki/l10n/displaysettings - especially
if such settings are necessary to ensure correct font selection. I would
be glad to have an interactive session on IRC with anyone who want to
find the best settings for their script/language. We can then play with
a non-official server where I can play with the settings. (Bring all
your browsers ;-)

My personal sort of an aim is for Pootle 0.10.1 to make it into the
upcoming Debian stable (Etch). I don't know if we'll make it, but
perhaps this is an extra incentive for people to update or start
translations. My current estimate is for a release within the next week
(hopefully before 23 September).

Happy Software Freedom Day!
