Actually, I used their xliff filters to convert the PO file to xliff. I tried
using the xliff file that is available for download, but there was a problem
with that. FYI, the error I got was:
The file is not well-formed XML document.
Error occurred at line 1 column:106
Error message: cvc-elt.1: Cannot find the declaration of element
'xliff'.
Conversion using their filters failed as well.

I didn't use the stand-alone Pootle tool because:
1. I don't have Python installed
2. I am loth to download a lot of stuff, because I pay by the megabyte.
I might give it a try one day, though.

Hmm, maybe I should consider claiming Dutch. It's not as if it would mean
having to give up my day job.

I don't think the problem is at your end.
I had some encoding problem with the tool from Sun as well.

Thanks for the explanation. I'll try and come up with a translation. 'Doelwit'
is a very good option, by the way.
Finally, there is also the issue of editing existing translations.
I must admit I am a bit reluctant to change existing translations, unless it's
really necessary.
Someone must have translated it in some particular way for SOME reason, right?
That is why e.g. I haven't removed capitals in certain cases where the original
didn't have them but the translation did.
