I'm not sure what you mean. Split what file? Please keep in mind that
I'm new to i18n, pootle, bzr....

_All_ I've done is set up pootle and suck in mailman files from the
launchpad bzr.

Done!

You'll have to talk to Clytie (head of translations for mailman) about
signing up with the project.
