This was resolved a few days ago on [EMAIL PROTECTED]
mailinglist, not sure if the mail got CC'd on to translate-pootle as
well.

While it was failing, it failed for a lot of people, also using only
ascii. (I tried things like "tester" and variations of it in all fields
for username, password etc.) After Sayamindu did the above stuff it
worked for the translator that mentioned the problem to me, and a few
others that were also blocked by it.
