Hi folks, I am new to Pootle (Server) concept. Lately I have done some translation/localization work for the Language Papiamento. My interest goes in general to all open source projects/programmes that can be utilized for educational purposes.
I want to tackle translations in papiamentu for a set of open source projects on a structured manner. My Question: Is it wise to start my own Pootle Server where I can host my own translation programme? Eventually I want also to involve more people to translation of papiamento resources. (Btw, I have extensive knowledge about IT. Si I could do myself most of the setup. I mean technical knowledge around setting up a Pootle environment is not a problem for me.) I would like to know opinions of some Pootle/translator experts out there, please.
