In the translate screen, one can link to specific strings by item number. 
For example, one can generate a link to 
http://translate.creativecommons.org/de_CH/cc_org/translate.html?translate=1&pofilename=cc_org.po&item=206

Something that comes up frequently is that we want translators to 
translate a few particular strings with high urgency. It would be nice to 
see something like a permalink icon to each string so that we could grab 
that link and send it to translators.

I was thinking of adding this into the Creative Commons Pootle templates, 
perhaps linking the "external link" image used by MediaWiki (e.g. 
http://upload.wikimedia.org/skins/monobook/external.png ) to what I'm 
calling the "permalink" URL. Perhaps at the start of the string, so that 
muscle memory can find it each time.

What do the rest of y'all Pootlers think? Is this something that you'd be 
interested in?
