Hi Casey I'm not sure I really understand what you are asking. Pootle can host translation files, and in a way it doesn't matter exactly what it is you are hosting. You can host small files and large files. Files can contain small strings or long strings. Can you maybe explain in more detail exactly what your concerns are?
