Does anyone know of any equipment which can perform Basic Rate receiver sensitivity testing other than the Siemens K1403 analyser?
We manufacture BRI cards for the european market and BABTstipulate, as part of their PQAA procedure, that all boards produced must be subjected to receiver sensitivity testing. The problem with the K1403 is that it is expensive (it does after all fully test Net 3 layer 1 ) and test throughput is slow. At present we hire a K1403 when we have a production batch ready to test. We are looking at designing our own test equipment but this is not trivial. We also looked at pursuing the BABT sampling scheme as an alternative to being a PQAA site but decided we would rather keep things in house. I would appreciate any input on this. regards David Sanderson Aculab plc [email protected]
