TREGers, I have recently seen specs from TELSTRA in Australia pertaining to their P2 digital signalling scheme (2 Mbit). My Marketing dude tells me that AUSTEL and TELSTRA have now merged, making these specs the relevent documents for all Australian E1 lines...but I don't believe him.
1) Can someone explain the relationship of TELSTRA with AUSTEL, if any? 2) Are there other E1 specs that have to be met to work in Australia? Thanks in advance.
