we are in the 6dB camp. many of our OEMs are in the 0dB camp which
cause us some OEM bashing. We also get into the ship it situation.
What I've found to be quite effective is to put configuration
restrictions on the system. This generally causes a corrective action
to get rid of the restriction. If you let it go they will ship forever.
