Chris, I would have mailed you directly but you didn't give an email 
address (or it got dropped on the way).

Your comments are a very valuable clarification.  Since a preliminary 
announcement through BEAMA in the summer of material received from 
Australia there has been near silence on the RCM, until something started 
about the C-tick.

I maintain the FAQ for the s.e.e.c (sci.engr.electrical.compliance) 
newsgroup and the above information would be very helpful there.  With 
your permission, I propose to copy/summarise it for the benefit of 
s.e.e.c participants.  

I expect to post the update of the FAQ tomorrow (Tuesday) so should you 
have any comment would appreciate it before then if possible.  Many
