Peter,
The FCC Part 68 DTMF requirements are not very extensive.
Power, with three second averaging, must not be greater than 0 dBm
into 600 Ohms, (or .775 V)
There are no frequency or twist specifications.
Industry Canada CS-03 has requirements, I believe they are the same as
TIA-496.

TREG'ers,
I am looking for specs on DTMF frequency, amplitude, and twist in the
US. I have found one listing in ANSI/EIA/TIA-496-A-1989, but I have
not found anything in FCC requirements.
Is DTMF specified somewhere in the bowels of Part 68?
