We are in the process of designing a V22 bis modem circuit for use in Austria. We are having a signifcant problem dealing with the way Austrian telephones are connected to the network at a site (home, store, ect).
The problem is that our unit is made to be portable, uses RJ11 connectors and is typically only connected to the phone circuit at night, which from reading the Austrian standards, is not a typical setup.. Does anyone have some knowledge or points of contacts who we could consult about issues of a portable system and using RJ11s in Austria. Thomas K. McAdams
