I believe that the forum shouyld cover what is more and more called ICT for Information and Communications Technology equipment regulations and that certainly includes telecoms, emc, electrical safety and pretty soon "green" requirements. In the EC it already involves management system requirements and we should not forget that this may well become more complicated than the technical requirements, with ISO 9000, ISO 14000, ISO Occupational Health and Safety, ISO Data Protection and Privacy, etc.. That is why I personally don't have time for dissertations, however interesting and much needed, on what to do with modems in the UK, or how to diddle them for Germany, from a technical perspective.
