I have a product which uses clip-in fuses on the primary side of a power supply card. In order for this supply to be used in the US and European markets I am looking for a fuse solution compatible with all regulatory requirements. It is my understanding that UL/CSA require different performance characteristics than found in the 5mm European styles.
1. Can US fuses be used to meet the regularly requirement of Europe? 2. Are 5mm fuses REQUIRED to meet world wide applications? If so must they also be used in secondary circuits? 3.
