Bonjour de Montreal, I just read in the ERA Safety and EMC Newsletter that Part 1 (emissions) and Part 2 (immunity) of EN 55103 Audio, video, audio-visual entertainment lighting control apparatus for professional use have been published in the Official Journal of the European Communities (OJ).
According to the same source, the applicability of these new standards are well defined and rely on the primary function. It also seems that they are written to be consistent with other standards (such as EN 55022 for an PC add-on audio/video card such as Matrox is building) so multiple test and/or limits are not needed. Does anybody has some light to the basic standards, limits and acceptable criteria as defined in these standards ?
