Bonjour Benoit, and group We did some testing according to EN 55103-1/2 harmonised and published in the O.J. september 1997. These standards, specify now 10 tests for emission. Among those are new :
Magnetic emissions close and far away Inrush currents Conducted emissions on signal and control port and for immunity 15 tests now, new are : Magnetic fields up to 10 khz Audio common mode voltages on signal and control ports Criteria are specified according to expected Electro Magnetic Environment Class E1 to E5. Class E5 corresponds to EN 50082-2 (dedicated power supply ; heavy industrial) Basic standards are most the EN 61000-4-x series , well known now (= IEC 1000-4-x series) and EN 55020 / 22 / 13 / 14 + EN 61000-3-2 and EN 61000-3-3 We may be helpful in specifying criteria. According to the same source, the applicability of these new standards are well defined and rely on the primary function. It also seems that they are written to be consistent with other standards (such as EN 55022 for an PC add-on audio/video card such as Matrox is building) so multiple test and/or limits are not needed. Does anybody has some light to the basic standards, limits and acceptable criteria as defined in these standards ?
