Dear Ron, TS 100 is the document which ACA used to effect grandfathering of the existing permits issued by Austel and its predecessor prior to 30 June 1997, it therefore applies to all types of customer equipment. There is considerable dissatisfaction with this situation. ACA have called a meeting with industry for 28 April where many of the issues arising from termination of the grandfathering, changeover to new standards and related issues will be discussed. There is a lot of speculation floating around. We can reasonably expect a continuation of ad hoc measures to smooth over what would otherwise be an abrupt transition. Hoping his helps you. .
