First thanks for your help. I didn't know about the different TNV voltage in Europe. In fact I was using UL1950, assuming it is identical to the EN60950 (except where deviations are noted). I guess I will have to work with the EN60950 itself. BTW, if I turn to using 2 caps in series, can I go to non X or Y caps.
