From: [email protected] Subject: Re: Testing for NT1 To the best of my knowledge, the test lab has given you the real answer. While you can sell S/T Basic Rate products in the EU, only the telco use NT1 or U interfaces. Thus there is no European Directive to tell you which harmonized standard to use so you really have to sell telco by telco and test as they each require.

I will be selling this unit to EU telcos and need to test to ETS ETR-080 (1995). At least that is what standard the chipset manufacturer says they comply to. I asked a test labs, that I had used before for other testing, and they indicated I needed to test on a country by country basis. That I should ask the telco what they what tested and if the telco would test it. So I throw my hands up and ask anyone out there for help. Any labs that can test this NT1 device? Anyone had a similar experience with an NT1 device.
