Does anybody have any information concerning the technical requirements for
telephone sets or modems for connection to the analogue PSTN within the
following countries;
Romania, Nepal and Egypt.
I have been trying to obtain information from the reg bodies for some time
now, but unfortunately information is not forthcoming. Any info on the
technical requirements or a suitable contact would be much appreciated.
I have noted that Romania has acoustic transmission requirements listed in
I-ETS 300-677 which is a document applied in conjunction with ETS 300-001
(NET 4). However Romania is not listed in the current version of ETS 300-001
(Jan '97 4th Ed). Am I missing something?
