Boy, I don't know who you guys are talking to, but it has been a nightmare
trying to get 70246 put on my phone. One of the reasons I took the Unlimited
Plan was because of this. Every month I get a bill, every month they bill me
for txt. I call them and I get "hmmm...that dropped off your plan, and for some
reason, we can't reattach it." Then they fix it, again. I'm sitting here now
waiting for a supervisor.

George Kontos <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: I just called Verizon. The customer
service rep had never heard of this, but she queried Code 70246 into the system
and found it! I now have 2000 SMS messages per month at no charge. She was
shocked and said this was "killer!" -- a savings of $20. :-)

Thanks Ralph! Now if you can get everyone who signs up to send you half of
that $20 they're saving... ;-D

George

You have to get the right CS to get the "PDA SMS 2000 Allowance" plan,
which is a plan that adds 2000 text messages to an unlimited data plan,
so you essentially get unlimited text messages. You have to get them to
find Code 70246, otherwise called "PDA SMS 2000 Allowance." If they say
they can't get it for you, call again until you find a CS that knows how
to find it. It usually takes a few CS people until you get it. It took
me 2 CS reps. They have to first remove your other $10 text messgages
plan before they can add this one.
