I am having a strange problem with my unlocked Treo 650 using the Softick audio gateway.
I am using the Softick Audio gateway with TCPMP and the Plantronics 590A headset playing MP3s. The arrangement worked fine for a long time (needed periodic soft resets, however), but now has this problem nearly continually. What happens is that I completely lose audio in one ear or the other. A soft reset and repairing with the headset will usually correct the problem, but then it comes back again. For a while, I would lose only the left ear audio, but recently, I lost the right ear audio. I still get audio, but only out of one ear of the headset. The balance control of TCPMP seems to have no effect on the condition. I have played around with the settings on the Audio Gateway, with no success. Softick says it is either TCPMP or the headset, and the Audio Gateway doesn't control the stereo. I can use the headset with my PC and a Bluetooth dongle, and the headset works fine. I have the latest version of TCPMP and the Softick Audio Gateway. Does anyone have any ideas on what could be causing this problem and how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
