I've had similar problems with audio gateway and TCPMP with my 680.
Occasionally the playback will start to stutter really badly and the
only way I've found to fix it is to switch AG from the headphones to
the phones then back again.  Sometimes it'll also hang the entire
phone requiring a reboot to fix.  The newest version of 1.12 seems to
have helped a little bit, but it's not quite solid yet.  Hopefully the
next iteration of the Treo will have A2DP built in.  I would like to
try the commercial versions of CorePlayer or Kinoma, but neither
offers a trial and I don't want to drop $25 only to find that it's no
better than the freeware.  I think one of them is planning a demo
release this summer so I'll give it a shot then.
