Doh! This is not good. Especially not a few days after the iPhone's release. I hate to say it, but things are not looking good for Palm. What's even more disturbing is the fact that there doesn't seem to be any new target date. If he had said it would be delayed till January, or even first quarter, then at least that would be something, but there was no mention of any new date/date range. So at this point, who knows, it might not be out for another year or more. By 2008, the current version of PalmOS (Garnet), will be 6 years old! All previous versions of PalmOS came out in a period shorter than 6 years. Oh well, I'll probably be still using my Treo until it breaks, at which point I'll just have to see what the market is doing. If things are continuing to go south for Palm, I'm not sure I want to invest several hundred in a platform that may be gone in a year or two...
