I don't know about switching from the 700 to 680, but I know what to do
with Cingular while you're over there: leave it at home. Cingular, that
is, not the 680. You can shop online or wait til you're there to buy a
SIM that will work "locally" instead of allowing Cingular to charge the
super high rates they'll be please to levy while you roam on European
systems with the U.S.-based SIM.
